All fees must be paid in full before mediation or arbitrations begin.

Cancellation Policy

We have a clear cancellation policy when mediation or arbitration is scheduled and notices of the mediation are sent. No cancellation fee will be charged if the mediation is canceled at least 14 days from the expected date.

The cancellation must be in writing. However, if the mediation is canceled within 14 days of the scheduled date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the daily rate per party will be charged to each party.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and the mediator may waive the cancellation fee if the cancellation is due to medical reasons, court intervention, or an event beyond the parties’ control.

Mediation

Full Day (Up to 8 hours)  $1600

Half Day (Up to 4 hours)  $800

If the mediation goes beyond the scheduled time, an additional charge of $300 per hour will be incurred, which will be divided between the parties.

There is a travel fee of $100 per hour for any in-person mediation session that is more than 45 miles away. The time spent on travel, like the travel expenses, will be shared between the parties. It will be estimated and invoiced before the mediation session.

​Arbitration

Full Day (Up to 8 hours)  $1500

A Full-Day Arbitration session lasts up to eight (8) hours. Any additional hours beyond eight will be charged at $300 per hour, and the cost will be split equally between the parties involved.

Fees vary depending on the type of case. We aim to serve the underserved and the unserved, where the parties are economically burdened. A|I Legal DRC uses a flat fee.
